Receive
Broadcast frames The total number of frames successfully received on an interface that are directed to broadcast
addresses.
Pause frames The number of pause frames received on an interface.
Alignment errors The total number of frames received on an interface that have alignment errors.
Collisions and Runts The number of frames that could not be received on an interface because of collisions because the
frame length (in bytes) is too small.
Oversize frames The total number of frames that are the larger than the maximum frame size.
FCS errors The total number of frames received on an interface that have a valid length (in bytes) but do not
have the correct FCS values.

Field Description
Transmit
Bytes The total number of bytes sent on an interface.
Unicast Frames The total number of frames sent to unicast addresses.
Multicast Frames The total number of frames sent to multicast addresses.
Broadcast Frames The total number of frames sent to broadcast addresses.
Dropped Frames The total number of frames that are not sent.
Pause Frames The number of pause frames sent on an interface.
Collisions Frames The total number of frames that are not sent on an interface because of collisions.
One Collision Frames The number of frames that are successfully sent on an interface after one collision occurs.
Multiple Collisions The number of frames that are sent after more than one collision occurs.
Late Collisions After a frame is sent, the number of times that a collision is detected on an interface later than
512 bit times.
Excessive Collisions The number of frames that could not be sent on an interface because more than 16 collisions
occurs.
Deferred Frames The number of frames for which the first transmission attempt on an interface is not successful.
This value excludes frames in collisions.
Receive
Bytes The total amount of memory (in bytes) used by frames received on an interface, including the
FCS value and the incorrectly formed frames. This value excludes the frame header bits.
Good Bytes The total amount of memory (in bytes) used by frames received on an interface, including the
FCS value and the correctly formed frames. This value excludes the frame header bits.
Unicast Frames The total number of frames successfully received on an interface that are directed to unicast
addresses.
Multicast Frames The total number of frames successfully received on an interface that are directed to multicast
addresses.
