rmon collection stats
rmon collection stats
Use the rmon collection stats interface configuration command to collect Ethernet group statistics,
which include utilization statistics about broadcast and multicast packets, and error statistics about
Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) alignment errors and collisions. Use the no form of this command to
return to the default setting.
rmon collection stats index [owner name]
no rmon collection stats index [owner name]

Examples This example shows how to collect RMON statistics for the owner root on an interface:
Switch(config)# interface gigabitethernet0/1
Switch(config-if)# rmon collection stats 2 owner root
You can verify your setting by entering the show rmon statistics privileged EXEC command.
index Remote Network Monitoring (RMON) collection control index. The range is
1 to 65535.
owner name (Optional) Owner of the RMON collection.
