show mac address-table address
show mac address-table address
Use the show mac address-table address user EXEC command to display MAC address table
information for the specified MAC address.
show mac address-table address mac-address [interface interface-id] [vlan vlan-id] [ | {begin |
exclude | include} expression]
Note Beginning with Cisco IOS Release 12.1(11)EA1, the show mac address-table address command
replaces the show mac-address-table address command (with the hyphen).

Usage Guidelines Expressions are case sensitive. For example, if you enter | exclude output, the lines that contain output
do not appear, but the lines that contain Output appear.
Examples This is an example of output from the show mac address-table address command:

mac-address Specify the 48-bit MAC address; the valid format is H.H.H.
interface interface-id (Optional) Display information for a specific interface. Valid interfaces
include physical ports and port channels.
vlan vlan-id (Optional) Display entries for the specific VLAN only. The range is 1 to
4094.
| begin (Optional) Display begins with the line that matches the expression.
| exclude (Optional) Display excludes lines that match the expression.
| include (Optional) Display includes lines that match the specified expression.
expression Expression in the output to use as a reference point.
