snmp-server enable traps
Note Though visible in the command-line help strings, the snmp-server enable informs command is not
supported. To enable the sending of SNMP inform notifications, use the snmp-server enable traps
command combined with the snmp-server host host-addr informs command. Though visible, the
fru-control, flash insertion and flash removal keywords are not supported.
Defaults The sending of SNMP traps is disabled.

Usage Guidelines Specify the host (NMS) that receives the traps by using the snmp-server host global configuration
command. If no trap types are specified, all trap types are sent.
Use the snmp-server enable traps command to enable sending of traps or informs, when supported.
Note Informs are not supported in SNMPv1.
To enable more than one type of trap, you must enter a separate snmp-server enable traps command
for each trap type.
SNMP transceiver traps apply to SFPs that support DoM-capable transceivers installed on the switch.
The sensor values are polled every 10 minutes, which is how often the user sees traps or alarms.
transceiver all (Optional) Enable SNMP traps for all supported Digital Optical Monitoring
(DoM)-capable transceivers installed on the switch.
tty (Optional) Send TCP connection traps. This is enabled by default.
vlan-membership (Optional) Enable SNMP VLAN membership traps.
vlancreate (Optional) Enable SNMP VLAN-created traps.
vlandelete (Optional) Enable SNMP VLAN-deleted traps.
vtp (Optional) Enable VLAN Trunking Protocol (VTP) traps.
