debug interface
debug interface
Use the debug interface privileged EXEC command to enable debugging of port-related activities. Use
the no form of this command to disable debugging.
debug interface {interface-id | null interface-number | port-channel port-channel-number |
tunnel
tunnel-interface | vlan vlan-id}
no debug interface {interface-id | null interface-number | port-channel port-channel-number |
tunnel
tunnel-interface | vlan vlan-id}
Syntax Description
Defaults Debugging is disabled.

Command History
Usage Guidelines If you do not specify a keyword, all debug messages are displayed.
The undebug interface command is the same as the no debug interface command.
Related Commands
interface-id Display debug messages for the specified physical port, for example
fastethernet1/0/3.
null interface-number Display debug messages for null interfaces. The interface-number is
always 0.
port-channel
port-channel-number
Display debug messages for the specified EtherChannel port-channel. The
port-channel-number range is 1 to 12.
tunnel tunnel-interface Display debug messages for the specified Distance Vector Multicast
Routing Protocol (DVMRP) tunnel. The tunnel-interface number range is
0 to 64.
vlan vlan-id Display debug messages for the specified VLAN. The vlan-id range is 1 to
4094.

show etherchannel Displays EtherChannel information for the channel.
