1.4.4 Interlock circuit
INFORMATION
The presence of an interlock does not imply full user protection. You must still meet and
satisfy system safety requirements.
Safety note 11: Information - interlock
NOTICE
The Synertia® RF generator's interlock mechanism provides 24 V DC
voltage. This output should not be used for any other device using a dry
contact. Other adjunct equipment can be damaged if connected to this
output. No external voltage may be used to operate the interlock
mechanism.

The figure above shows the simplified interlock scheme of the Synertia® RF generator.
It consists of an interlock chain with:
• Internal 24 V DC source, 0.1 A fuse
• Interlock Connector
Two specific pins of this connector must be connected to each other externally to
enable RF power operation.
