1.5.3 Shut down water-cooled model
lf a water-cooled model, rotate the mains switch at the back panel to "off" and apply
lockout/tagout by normal means. There are no other "energy-isolating devices" except for
the items said above.
Close and lockout the supply valve for facility-supplied cooling water.
There are no other stored energies needing "relieving", except for stored energy as stated
in the caution hint below.
Double-check the front or back panel lights to be sure the power-down was successful.
CAUTION
Since water hoses contain stored energy, they must be disconnected
upon shut down. Carefully, release pressure in water hoses before
unscrewing, so that water does not squirt on unit or other equipment.
Safety note 15: Caution - water hoses
NOTICE
The system uses facility cooling water for operation and does not have
internal fittings or potential leak points. The customer / operator should
consider installing secondary containment under the generator in case of
a water leak at the external fittings.

1.5.4 Restart
This is the reverse of above steps. Double-check the front or back panel lights after
power-up to be sure power-up was successful. Never attempt to lock the unit in the "ON"
position.
