4.7.3 Connection procedure for air-cooled and water-cooled units
Make sure that the data indicated on the type label on the back of the generator
housing comply with the local power supply.
Assemble and wire the mains connector with the parts listed above.
Use a cable that has a cross-section adequate for the maximum AC mains current
specified in the data sheet and that meets the requirements of local rules and
regulations.

If applicable, attach an end connector suitable for the country of use to the mains
cable.
Use the assembled mains cable to connect the generator to a power outlet.
Note: if the AC connection is to be made by permanent wiring rather than via a
power outlet, ensure that the connection to the power grid is made by a qualified
electrician.
If required by local electrical regulations, install an external disconnect device in
the generator power supply chain to disconnect all current-carrying conductors in
shutdown mode.
