5.1 Modes of operation
5.1.1 Remote-control operation via the analog and digital signals
The generator can be operated via the 15-pin User Port. For detailed pin-outs of the User
Port, please refer to section 9.2 “User Port – 15-pin analog/digital interface (optional)”on
page 76.
5.1.2 Remote-control operation via digital communications interface
The generator can be operated via the installed digital communication interfaces (RS-232
interface or one of the fieldbus interfaces). For detailed information on the available
commands, please refer to chapter 10 "Host port communication" on page 88.
