70 User Manual Synertia® RF Generator
The information contained in this manual is subject to change by Comet Yxlon without prior notice.
8 Mechanical specifications
8.1 Spacing and airflow requirements
The Synertia® RF generator needs the following space to provide room for connections
and to meet cooling requirements:
Air-cooled models:
80 mm (3.15 in) are required at front and back of the unit to ensure proper
airflow.
The air intake opening is at the front of the unit and air outflow is at the back.
Ensure nothing is blocking air intake or outflow.
Water-cooled models:
Water-cooled generators are fully enclosed and don't have additional air cooling
hence no spacing requirements apply for airflow.
Note: make sure that the maximum permissible ambient temperature is observed.
This also includes ensuring that devices located near the generator do not heat it
up additionally.
8.2 Dimensional drawings
The following figures illustrate the physical dimensions (in mm) of the
Synertia® RF generator. The anchorage locations are shown in Figure 37, Figure 39,
Figure 41 and Figure 43. Information on fixation screws is provided as well.
