3.2 Unpacking the unit
3.2.1 Unit weight and center of mass
The weight of a Synertia® RF generator depends on the model and its installed options.
• Air-cooled models: 12.5 kg / 27.5 lbs
• Water-cooled models: 24.5 kg / 54.0 lbs
Slight variations are possible depending on installed options.
Weight and location of the center of mass are of interest when units are installed in a
rack. The red dot in Table 15 shows a virtual reference point at the center of the bottom
line at the generators' front panel. From this reference point the dimensions (x-y-z-axes)
start.

3.2.2 Packaging
The shipping container is a double-layered cardboard box. The fixation parts for the
product are made of polyethylene foam. See Figure 13 and Figure 14.
NOTICE
Depending on the storage temperature, moisture can accumulate in the
device, which can lead to condensation.
It is the operator's responsibility to acclimate the device appropriately
before unpacking it and to operate it only within the approved
environmental conditions.
