50-12 config igmp_snooping multicast_vlan forward_unmatched
Description
This command is used to configure the forwarding mode for multicast VLAN unmatched packets.
When the Switch receives an IGMP snooping packet, it will match the packet against the multicast
profile to determine which multicast VLAN to associate with. If the packet does not match all
profiles, the packet will be forwarded or dropped based on this setting.
By default, the packet will be dropped.
Format
config igmp_snooping multicast_vlan forward_unmatched [enable | disable]
Parameters
enable - The packet will be flooded on the VLAN.
disable - The packet will be dropped.
Restrictions
Only Administrators, Operators and Power-Users can issue this command.
Example
To configure the forwarding mode for multicast VLAN unmatched packets
DGS-3000-26TC:admin#config igmp_snooping multicast_vlan forward_unmatched
enable
Command: config igmp_snooping multicast_vlan forward_unmatched enable
Success.

Description
This command is used to display information for IGMP snooping multicast VLANs.
Format
show igmp_snooping multicast_vlan {<vlan_name 32>}
Parameters
<vlan_name 32> - (Optional) Enter the VLAN name here. The VLAN name can be up to 32
characters long.
