Programming can also be performed using the protocol “Decoded Engine
Se
rial Protocol” (DESP) or using Datalogic Aladdin™ Configuration applica-
tion, downloadable from the Datalogic website. This multi-platform utility
pr
ograms allow device configuration using a PC. It communicates with the
device using a serial or USB cable and can also create configuration barcodes
to print.
