2.8.9 STO function checklist
The STO function of a drive must always be checked before initial commissi-
oning, after maintenance, and at regular maintenance intervals.
This check should include the following tests:

1 The STO inputs are de-energized.
InHibit (locked state) is displayed when the motor
is at a standstill and a Stop command has been issued
to the RASP5 speed controller.
The STO LED is off.
2 The STO inputs are de-energized and the RASP5 speed
controller receives a Start command.
InHibit (locked state) is displayed. The motor does
not start.
The STO LED is off.
3 The STO inputs are supplied with 24 V DC and the
RASP5 speed controller receives a Start command.
The STO LED lights up green.
The motor starts normally and is controlled by the
RASP5.
4 The motor is running while being controlled by the
RASP5and an STO input is de-energized.
InHibit is displayed and the motor coasts to a
stop.
The STO LED is off.
