9. Remove one screw (CBP, 3×8) securing the paper eject drive to the left main frame.
10. Attach the knob to the PF roller shaft. Then hold down the trigger lever on the right end of the PF roller,
and turn the PF roller shaft until the edge guides don’t lift up any further.
11. Remove the paper eject drive by lifting up the front.
12. Remove the edge guide (See page 3-23).
13. Remove one E-ring at the left end of the paper feed shaft (See Figure 3-33).
14. Release the paper feed shaft bushing mounting the paper feed shaft to the left main frame.
15. Release the joint for the paper feed gear on the right end of the paper feed shaft and ASF transmission
gear in the middle frame. Then shift the paper feed shaft toward the left frame and remove it.

EMINDER

Engage the paper feed gear and gear 29 in the ASF gear set as shown in Figure 3-32.

Don’t touch the gear surface with your bare hands; this may damage the gear.
