The following firmware is required on the power source to be able to operate the RCU
5000i remote control unit:

Connecting RCU
5000i
The RCU 5000i remote control unit can be connected to any LocalNet socket on the weld-
ing machine, e.g.:
LocalNet connection socket on VR 4000, VR 7000 and
VR 1500
LocalNet connection socket on TPS 2700 and TS/TPS
4000-5000
Procedure:
Switch the power source mains switch to the “0” position
Plug the remote control unit LocalNet plug into the LocalNet connection socket
Tighten the union nut on the plug
Move the power source mains switch to the "I" position - the remote control is ready,
the starting sequence appears
WARNING! Operating the equipment incorrectly can cause serious injury and
damage. Do not use the functions described until you have thoroughly read and
understood the following operating instructions:
- Remote control unit,
- Power source,
- Wirefeeders.
