9.3.17.3 IGMP Snooping Table

Non-Configurable Data
MAC Address - A VLAN ID - multicast MAC address pair for which the switch has forwarding and or
filtering information. The format is 8 two-digit hexadecimal numbers that are separated by colons, for
example 00:01:23:45:67:89:AB:CD.
Type - This displays the type of the entry. Static entries are those that are configured by the user.
Dynamic entries are added to the table as a result of a learning process or protocol.
Description - The text description of this multicast table entry. Possible values are Management
Configured, Network Configured and Network Assisted.
Unit/Slot/Port(s) - The list of interfaces that are designated for forwarding (Fwd:) and filtering (Flt:).
Command Buttons
Clear Entries - Clicking this button tells the IGMP Snooping component to delete all of its entries
from the multicast forwarding database.
Refresh - Refresh the data on the screen with the present state of the data in the switch.
