10.6.10 DHCP Client Commands
10.6.10.1 ip dhcp restart
This command is used to initiate a BOOTP or DHCP client request.
Syntax
ip dhcp restart

10.6.10.2 ip dhcp client-identifier
This command is used to specify the DHCP client identifier for this switch. Use the no form to restore to
default value.
Syntax
ip dhcp client-identifier {text <text> | hex <hex>}
no ip dhcp client-identifier
<text> - A text string. (Range: 1-15 characters).
<hex> - A hex string which format is XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX (X is 0-9, A-F)
no - This command is used to restore to default value.
