9.3.19 Pin Group

9.3.19.1 Pinning Config
The purpose of the pinning config is to specify if a downlink port will participate the pinning state or not. If
a downlink port is not participated the pinning state, the traffic of this port will be forwarded between the
downlinks and no traffic will be forwarded out the CB from uplink ports.

Selection Criteria
Pinning State – Selects if the downlink port is participating the pinning state.
Non-Configurable Data
Unit/Slot/Port - The interface.
Type - The interface type. Type should be Internal, or Port Channel.
Status - Indicates the current value of the participation parameter for the interface.
Command Buttons
Apply - Update the Switch with the values on this screen. If you want the Switch to retain the new
values across a power cycle, you must perform a save.
