10.6.12.3 Configuration Commands
10.6.12.3.1 ip hosts
This command creates a static entry in the DNS table that maps a host name to an IP address.
Syntax
ip host <name> < ipAddr|ipv6Addr >
no ip host <name>
<name> - Host name.
< ipAddr|ipv6Addr > - IPv4/IPv6 address of the host.
<no> - Remove the corresponding name to IPv4/IPv6 address mapping entry.
