3.2 Inspections to be performed prior to installation

Ambient temperature in the immediate
location of the equipment
Recommended: between 15°C and 25°C
Required: between 0°C and 40°C

Humidity and condensation
Verify that there is no water condensation or
dampness within the installation site

Ventilation
Verify that sufficient airflow or forced ventilation is
provided for battery cabinets location
4.
Foundation and route to installation site
Verification of adequate structure, space and
clearance for dimensions and weights of the UPS
units and their battery cabinets
When planning the location of the UPS
units, room for access to battery
cabinets and electrical boards is critical.
Verify 91 cm (36 in.)clearance at rear for cable
connections and 100 cm (39 in.) at front for user
Circuit breakers on the electrical board
Must be in accordance with Gamatronic system
specifications and connection schematic
7.
Diameter of input and output power
cable connections, PE (Gnd) and
neutral lines.
Must comply with local and international codes, and
be appropriate for the circuit breakers protecting
them. Refer to connections schematic.
8.
Lightning / Voltage surge protection on
electrical board supplying the system.
Voltage surge suppressors type B must be installed
between each phase and the neutral line:
Ratings: 300 Vac for 220-230 Vac mains.

Ac input voltage
Phase-to-Phase: 400* Vac, +10 %, -15 %
L2-L3
L3-L1
Phase-to-Neutral: 220* Vac, +10 %, -15 %
Voltage between neutral and ground
System installation and start-up
Must be performed only by authorized personnel in
accordance with connection schematic, Gamatronic
system specifications and this User Guide
* Or other, according to nominal voltage rating of local power mains.
