Preparing to Configure the Dome
Note to Windows Vista and Windows 7 Users
If you are running Window Vista or Windows 7, ensure that User Account Control
(UAC) is turned off.
To turn UAC off, do the following:
About the Honeywell IP Utility Install Wizard
The Honeywell IP Utility install wizard will install the following items on your
workstation:
Windows Vista
1. Click the Start button , click
Control Panel, and then click
User Accounts.
2. Click Turn User Account
Control (UAC) on or off. If you
are prompted for an
administrator password or
confirmation, type the password
or provide confirmation.
3. Clear the Use User Account
Control (UAC) to protect your
computer check box to turn off
UAC, and then click OK.
4. Restart your computer.
Windows 7
1. Click the Start button , type
UAC in the Start Search box,
and then click Change User
Account Control settings.
2. Move the slider to the Never
Notify position, and then click
OK. If you are prompted for an
administrator password or
confirmation, type the password
or provide confirmation.
3. Restart your computer.

domes and view live video
Bonjour software Discovers devices on the network
Honeywell IP Adapter software Required if a workstation does not have
Honeywell IP Utility installed but operator is using
the web client application
Honeywell ActiveX software Enables live streaming of video on the web client
application
