Keep the slings away from cutting or welding operations and, in general, from intense heat
sources.
Keep the slings in dry warehouses and lubricate them regularly to avoid corrosion.
Do not leave the slings on the floor where they can be crushed by wheels or caterpillars.
13.3.3 Lifting the Primus
To lift the machine, pass the slings through the eyebolts screwed into the special holes on the
base; the ends of the sling must embrace the eyebolts fixed to the base, and the central part must
be inserted in the hook of the lifting equipment.
To lift the main structure, use a crane or bridge crane in the manner indicated below:
Primus 184: use 2 slings - one 6m long (services cabinet side) and the other 7m long (for the
opposite side) and 4 eyebolts (one for each lifting support)
.
Primus 184
The Primus machines cannot be lifted with forklifts.
For the transport of the UHP intensifier, refer to the manufacturer's manual.
The electrical cabinet has eyebolts so it can be lifted with the aid of ropes.
The unloading and subsequent installation of the machine is carried out by Biesse technicians.
