Only with an accurate analysis is it possible to establish whether the water used for the
machining operation falls within the required parameters.
If these characteristics are not respected, Intermac will have the right not to recognised the
warranty conditions.
General remarks
Before performing any maintenance on the machine (unless otherwise specified):
1. Use the system OFF button to switch off the motors and the UHP intensifier.
2. Turn off the water supply, rotating the baffle valve in the factory water supply system.
3. Use the main switch to disconnect the power supply.
4. Purge the air from the pneumatic system by means of the cut-out valve.
5. Padlock both the main switch and the cut-out valve, to prevent anybody from reactivating
these systems.
In this way it is possible to access the operating head and the other devices in order to carry out
the necessary replacements and/or maintenance operations, in conditions of absolute safety.
11.1 Routine maintenance
The table below shows the general machine maintenance operations, and the frequency with
which they must be carried out. The frequency was assessed considering a 5-day working week, 8
hours per day under normal working conditions. Where appropriate, the Page column indicates the
number of the page where the intervention procedure is described.
Cleaning
Proper cleaning of the machine and the surrounding area will make the work environment healthier
and safer, with commands, warning devices and lights more easily identifiable.
