11.2.3 Maintenance of the cutting head

The cutting head is a pre-assembled component that requires interventions by specialised

Intermac-authorised personnel.

Troubleshooting

In the event of leakages, DO NOT TOUCH and do not attempt to block the water jet.

Before beginning any operation, make sure the machine is switched off and is in a safe

condition.

Contact a technician authorised by INTERMAC to perform this task.

PROBLEM SOLUTION

1 Leakage of water from the

upper hole

Replace the gaskets of the pin

and pin seat

2 Leakage of water from the

lower hole

Replace or tighten the pin seat

3 Leakage of water near the

valve support

Check the tightening and

centring of the high pressure

connector, replacing it if

necessary

4 Leakage of water from the

focusing nozzle (dripping, or

continuous jet) when the

cutting head is closed

Replace the pin or pin seat

5 Delay in the opening and/or

closure of the cutting head

Replace the brass and gaskets
