9.6 Using the abrasive distribution system (optional)
The abrasive batcher located on the working head ensures a constant supply during the machining
operation. The system also has an external propulsor that uses compressed air to push the
abrasive towards the batcher.
If the abrasive runs out, the machine is put “on hold” and the warning message “fill the tank with
abrasive” will appear on the monitor.
After topping up the tank with abrasive, press the START CYCLE button to resume the machining
operation.
When topping up the level of abrasive, make sure the protection filter is inserted; this holds
back any foreign bodies to prevent them entering the distribution system.
Ensure the abrasive is stored in a dry place; during the filling operation, the abrasive must
be dry enough to flow easily.
