14.4 Levelling of the machine
Position the machine inside the factory, respecting the safety distances from other equipment in
order to guarantee an escape route even if the mobile guards are open.
Respect the specific clearances for each model installed.
Refer to paragraph 4.5 “Work area”.
Proceed as follows:
Position
the support plates on the installation area floor, and fix them in place.
Position the machine so the feet are resting on the plates.
Obtain a precise levelling device (at least 0.05mm/m) and a ground plate with even
thickness (+
0.01mm).
Carry out the levelling operation in the following way:
Loosen the locknuts on the jackscrews of the feet.
Rest the level on area A (Y-axis direction) and check it is levelled.
Rest the level on area B (X-axis direction) and check it is levelled.
To modify the degree of levelling, rotate the support feet. Now tighten the locknuts.
