14.5 Safety guards

The safety guards consist of photoelectric barriers A positioned at a certain distance from the

machine. They are assembled by INTERMAC technicians.

The front part of the work table is fitted with a mobile wall B that rises during the machining

operation.

The two ends of the beam are fitted with fixed guards C to prevent water jets being directed

outwards during the machining operation.
