Cleaning the machining operation basin
The machining operation water is contained in a basin in the base of the machine, where it is left to
decant so that the solid residues are deposited on the bottom.
The recirculation system separates the solid residues from the machining water, which is poured
back into the basin. For further information, refer to chapter 8.
It is still necessary however to remove the sediment that tends to accumulate and thus interfere
with the recirculation system; this should be done every 6 months, using normal digging tools.
In addition, the encrustation inside the basin reduces the space available for the water itself.
This operation involves emptying the basin by means of the baffle valve A.
Remove the work table by lifting the sheets from their supports and taking out the grilles below. In
this way, you can access the lower part of the basin.
When necessary, remove any accumulated sediment from the decantation basin B.
Dispose of the machining water in the correct manner, respecting the local and national
regulations in force.
