2.9 Safety devices
A - “Emergency” button: used to stop the machine immediately. It is located on the main control
panel. For further information, see chapter 9.
Additional buttons are located on the hand-held button pad (see paragraph 5.3) and on the
intensifier (see the manufacturer's manual).
B - Cut-out valve; used to safely perform maintenance or repairs on the machine and can be
locked to prevent outside interference. Its actuation, which takes place by turning the
appropriate knob, causes the discharge of the pneumatic system and blocks the air flow from
the supply network. If actuated, press and turn the knob clockwise to allow the reset of the
machine.
C - Safety guards: photoelectric barriers located at a distance from the edge of the machine, to
protect the operator from any risk of interference with moving parts.
In the version with pendular machining mode, the safety barriers are split to alternately protect
the work area and free the loading area.
Do not remove or tamper with safety microswitches positioned on mobile guards.
Do not remove fixed or mobile guards.
INTERMAC shall not be liable in case of negligence.
