4 Intended use and unintended use
4.1 How to use the machine
The machine is designed to cut the piece with the aid of a software (see paragraph 4.3
“Executable machining operations”).
Depending on the dimensions of the piece(s), the loading and unloading operations can be carried
out manually by the operator, or using a bridge crane or hoist.
With regards the characteristics of the materials to be used, observe the specifications given in
paragraph 4.2 “Characteristics and dimensions of workable materials”.
Any form of use not indicated in the manual is forbidden.
In the event of doubts or requests differing from those described in the manual,
please contact INTERMAC.
Intermac declines all responsibility for injuries caused by the improper use of the
system.
Only the actual piece being machined should be exposed to the water jet.
To avoid making holes in the work table:
• always perform the cutting operations with the maximum level of water in the basin
• do not point the jet in one single direction for too long (no more than 30 seconds), especially
near the edges of the basin where the chutes are located.
