4.4 Personnel qualifications
The system must only be used by trained, authorised persons.
The machine requires only one operator to carry out the following tasks:
implement the piece design (by means of the CAD program) and set the machining
parameters (by means of the CAM program)
load, position and unload the pieces
A second operator may be present to carry out the loading and unloading operations.
4.5 Work area
During the different operations required, the operator in charge of the machine moves to different
areas:
position A, to activate the commands and/or enter data in the program
position B (with the machine in safety mode, and the safety guards disabled), to position the
pieces to be worked or unload the pieces already worked
Machine location
The machine must be positioned in a sheltered place inside the factory, respecting the health and
safety regulations currently in force. It is the employer's responsibility to make sure the operator is
not working in awkward or stressful conditions.
