3.1 Axes
"Machine axes" means any movements (positive or negative) made by specific machine parts.
All the envisaged axes are described below.
Three-axis version:
• X-axis: along the mobile beam (that moves
on the two shoulders)
• Y-axis: along the fixed shoulders of the
machine
• Z-axis: vertical movement
Five-axis version:
• X-axis: along the mobile beam (that moves
on the two shoulders)
• Y-axis: along the fixed shoulders of the
machine
• Z-axis: vertical movement
• A-axis: tilting axis
• C-axis: endless rotation around the Z-axis
