Work origins
There may be up to 50 work origins, and they correspond to the point in which you want to obtain
a piece from a sheet. Each piece cut from a sheet will have a different origin. This data item is
entered in the user interface.
3.6 Machine operation
The various machining operation modes are described below:
Start-up mode
On start-up, the machine resets the axes and the head moves to the origin.
Machining mode
A : the working head moves above the piece, in the predefined point, and begins to cut
B : the working head moves above the piece, in the predefined point, and measures the
thickness of the sheet (using the thickness tracer) before beginning to cut
C : the working head moves above the piece, in the predefined point, and measures the
thickness of the sheet (using the thickness tracer) before beginning to cut
While cutting, it takes the measurements at predefined intervals, to verify any thickness
variations.
D : the working head moves above the piece, in the predefined point, and measures the
thickness of the sheet during the entire cutting operation
The job of the thickness tracer is to compensate for any planarity errors (max. 15°), always
keeping the focusing nozzle at the same distance from the piece to obtain a good cut while
protecting the components from any knocks (in the Z direction) or damage.
The machine performs all the program operations envisaged until the machining operation is
completed, then stops in the initial position (back at the origin).
