11.1.1 Maintenance of the air treatment units
The table below shows the air treatment unit maintenance operations, and the frequency with
which they must be carried out.
The main air treatment unit is used to adjust the pressure of the air supplied to the machine during
machining operations.
Dynamic dryer filter
The dynamic dryer filter is located upstream from the regulator unit on the machine, and is used to
drain the water accumulated in its own condensation collection cup. To allow the drainage of this
condensation, it is necessary to shut off the air flow by means of the valve upstream from the
dryer.
Carry out this operation weekly.
To avoid any malfunctioning, it is absolutely forbidden to fill the cups with lubricating
oil or any other liquid.
Frequency Intervention
Every 900 hours Clean the dryer filter
Every 1800 hours Replace the dryer filter
Every 3000 hours Replace the oil separator filter
