Warning messages for oil separator filter maintenance
A counter, operating via the NC, determines the effective machine work hours. 2800 hours after
the last intervention, a message appears on the screen to tell the operator to replace the filtering
element within the time indicated.
PLC9788>Replace the oil separator filter (refer to the User Manual) within x hours
This message will continue to appear until the end of the specified time. If the element is not
replaced within the 3000 hours envisaged, a new message will appear:
PLC9787>Replace the oil separator filter (refer to the User Manual)
This message will remain visualised until the filtering element has been replaced.
Reset procedure
After replacing the filtering element, you can eliminate the warning message and reset the
counters.
Proceed as follows:
open the technical data
enter the password for the administrator user level (level 7)
visualise the table T05 INTERMAC/S53 SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
At this point, you will see 3 columns showing:
name of the element requiring maintenance (in this case, OIL SEPARATOR FILTER - D001)
box for indicating maintenance (D002)
hours since last maintenance intervention (D003)
in column D002, select “1.Maintenance carried out”
save the operations by pressing the “save” key
press the “Reset” key on the console or hand-held button pad
Data item D003 will be reset, and the warning message will disappear.
