REPAIR (See Figure 8D-2)
Refer to Figure 8D-2 for disassembly and reassembly
of the traction pump.
INSPECTION
1. Inspect bronze surface of valve plate for scratch-
es or gouged marks.
2. Inspect piston shoes for excessive wear, cracks
or shoes that fall off pistons.
3. Inspect shaft for excessive wear or damage.
4. If any component condition is questionable, replace
hydrostatic transmission.
