TESTING (See Figure 10D-1)
Test battery voltage as follows:
1. Connect DC multimeter to battery terminals.
2. Set voltmeter to 20 VDC.
3. Crank the engine — if battery voltage falls below
9 volts while cranking, the battery is run-down or
faulty. Charge and perform test again.
