CIRCUIT BREAKER TEST
See Figure 10J-1 and test circuit breaker as follows:
1. Set multimeter to 200 Ω (ohms) scale.
2. Connect meter leads to terminals as shown.
•
With the circuit breaker open (tripped) there should
be no continuity on the meter scale.
3. Depress button (close).
•
There should be a reading (continuity) on meter
scale.
Replace a circuit breaker that does not meet these
test results.
