8.5 Replacement of Major Parts

Magnetron Replacement Procedure for Transmitter-Receiver Unit NTG-3225

(1) Loosen the four screws and remove the

cover.

The screws are slotted captive screws.

Use a flat-blade screwdriver.

(2) Loosen the upset head bolt (one M4

bolt), and slide the tightening metal

fitting, located between the modulator

and the circulator, to remove it.

The magnetron is installed within the modulator.
