7.2 Emptying the main tank
7.2.1 General
If the content of the main tank cannot be properly sprayed, the spraying agent is
to be disposed of in the proper manner.
To empty the main tank
the spraying agent must be pumped into an external tank,
the residual content in the main tank must be drained off.
Main tank pumping and draining is also required when spraying agent remains in
the main tank during spraying intervals, and it is unable to be agitated because of
deposits, bonding etc.
7.2.2 Pump the remaining quantity from the main container
Prepare external container.
Remove sealing cap from the pump
connection (1).
Fit a suitable hose to the pump connec-
tion.
Hold or attach the other end of the hose
to the external container.
Switch the selection valve of the spray
pump (A) to change-over valve (C).
Switch over valve (D) to main tank.
Switch the diverting valve to external
cleaning/pumping.
