4.26.2 Triple nozzle holder
Up to three nozzles can be attached to
each of the triple nozzle holders (3). The
desired nozzle (1) is selected by turning
the nozzle holder.
Between the individual nozzles there is a
locking position for closing the nozzle hol-
der.
4.27 Nozzles
4.27.1 General
Various nozzles can be fitted to the nozzle holders. Each nozzle type has a diffe-
rent volume flow, spray pattern, drop size and nozzle characteristics. The liquid
which is to be sprayed, the environmental conditions, the nozzle characteristics
and official regulation such as distance conditions, drift reduction classes etc.
must be taken into account for the selection of the nozzles.
A universal nozzle table and special nozzle tables for liquid fertilizer are listed in
the Appendix.
4.27.2 Liquid fertilizer nozzles
Liquid fertilizer nozzles are designed for the application of large drops of liquid fer-
tilizer.
The implement can be equipped with the following liquid fertilizer nozzles:
Five-hole nozzle
Six-hole nozzle ESI
Liquid fertilizer FD
Liquid fertilizer SJ-7
