9.4 Lubricating
Eye injuries due to grease
When lubricating the lubrication points, grease can escape
between components at high pressure and cause injury to the
eyes.
When lubricating components, wear protective clothing, especi-
ally safety glasses.
In case of injury, seek medical attention immediately.
Lubricate the implement as described in
"Maintenance intervals, page 149".
Lubricate lubrication points with multi-
purpose grease.
Use only environmentally compatible
lubricants for all lubrication jobs.
9.4.1 Additional care once the season is over
Grease all piston rods in the hydraulic
ram.
Grease all surfaces that are at risk of
rusting.
