The spraying agent flows through the open central bypass valve (21) into the agi-
tator via the bypass collector. Since the spraying fluid circulates through the
pump(s), suction area, pressure range, sprayer boom and agitator when pumped
into the tank, this prevents any spraying agent from settling in this pipe system. If
one or more part-width sections are switched off, the central bypass valve (21) is
not activated and only the respective part-width section valve (20) is closed. The
shutdown of part-width section valves (20) is detected by the operation terminal
and the spray rate in l/ha during automatic operation is maintained at a level equi-
valent to the target values specified by the operation terminal.
The "equal pressure effect" is electronically recreated.
Within the part-width sections, the working width can be reduced by a further 50
cm per blind cap using blind caps. To calculate the input quantity of the operation
terminal precisely, it is then necessary to reprogram the part-width sections at the
operation terminal.
So the main switch of the operation terminal must always be used to switch off the
entire sprayer boom.
Exception: System cleaning with partially filled main container
The pressure sensor for pressure indication is positioned in front of the part-width
section valve on the operation terminal. The sensor only displays the current
spray pressure and has no influence on the control of the unit.
