3 Remove the screw from the mailbox (A), then remove the left cover.
Mailbox option latch removal
1 Remove the mailbox left cover or right cover. See “Mailbox left cover removal” on page 696 or “Mailbox right
cover removal” on page 691.
2 Pull the latches off the mailbox, and then remove.
Sensor (mailbox rear door interlock) removal
1 Remove the mailbox left cover. See “Mailbox left cover removal” on page 696.
2 Pry the mylar cover off the sensor latches.
