1. Under System, click General to open the General tab.
2. Use the dropdown next to Language to set the desired language for the DVR’s on-
screen display.
3. Click Save. The system language will update only once you exit the main menu.
12.5.3 Configuring Menu Time-out Option
By default, system menus are set to time-out after a set time period, taking you back to the
main menu if there is no activity.
