ReplacementInstructions
Anewcompressorissuppliedlledwithafullchargeof
refrigerantoil.Thenewcompressormustbedrainedanda
calculatedquantityofoiladdedbeforetting.T ocalculatethe
quantityofoiltobeadded,carryoutthefollowingprocedure:
1.Removetheller/drainplugfromtheoldcompressor.
2.Invertthecompressorandgravitydraintheoilintoa
calibratedmeasuringcylinder.Rotatethecompressor
clutchtoensurethecompressoriscompletelydrained.
3.Recordthequantityofoildrained,discardtheoil.
4.Removetheller/drainplugfromthenewcompressor.
5.Invertthecompressorandgravitydraintheoilintoa
calibratedmeasuringcylinder.Rotatethecompressor
clutchtoensurethecompressoriscompletelydrained.
6.Addthesameamountofoildrainedfromtheold
compressortothenewcompressor.
7.Discardtheremainingoildrainedfromthenew
compressor.
8.Fitandtightenthecompressorller/drainplug.
