distancesalongthelengthofthevehicle.Thestartpointfor
thisplaneisthroughthecentreofthefrontwheels.
The‘Y'planeisanimaginaryplanethroughthecentreofthe
vehicleandmeasuresdistancesacrossthevehicle.Asarule,
bodydimensionsaresymmetricalaboutthecentreline.
The‘Z'planeisanimaginaryhorizontalplanewhichmeasures
distancesinheightofthevehicle.Thestartpointforthisplane
isthroughthecentreofthewheels.
Thepointtopointdimensionalinformationshownareactual
distancesbetweentwopoints.Thesepointsusedareeither
intersectionpointsorholes.Whereholesaretaken,thepoint
ofmeasurementisalwaysfromtheholecentre.
