Wiring Precaution Section 3-1
3-1-3 Connecting Sensors to the E2C-MA11
Do not use excessive force when securing the nut for E2C-X-series sensors.
Always use a toothed washer.
Note The above tightening torques assume that a toothed washer is being used.
Cylindrical Sensors
without Screws
Use the following tightening torque when attaching a sensor with a set screw:
0.2 N • m max.
Effects of Surrounding
Metal
When mounting the sensor within a metal panel, ensure that the clearances
given in the following table are maintained.
Note Diameters (d) in parentheses are the external diameters for shielded sensors.
Although the E2C-CR5B is a shielded sensor, it cannot be mounted within a
metal panel.
