Scaled Conversion Data/Comparison Result Section 2-3
2-3 Scaled Conversion Data/Comparison Result
Either of the following is stored in the input word.
Scaled conversion data
Result of comparison between the set value and the scaled conversion
data
Scaled Conversion Data The binary-coded scaled conversion data is stored in the input word allocated
to the Unit.
Comparison Results The comparison result of the value is obtained by comparing the preset HH,
H, L, and LL comparison set values and the scaled conversion data. The fol-
lowing bits will be turned ON according to the result.
HH: The HH bit of the input word will be ON if the present scaled conver-
sion data equals or is greater than the HH set value.
H: The H bit of the input word will be ON if the present scaled conversion
data equals or is greater than the H set value.
L: The L bit of the input word will be ON if the present scaled conversion
data equals or is less than the L set value.
LL: The LL bit of the input word will be ON if the present scaled conver-
sion data equals or is less than the LL set value.
The PASS bit of the input word will be ON in other cases.
If the Unit is in normal hold mode, the hysteresis of the present scaled conver-
sion data will be effective when any of the above bits is turned OFF.
The following is an example of data comparison. The timing hold is set to nor-
mal.
